We offer several types of ranges for sportsmen to practice on. Our ranges are open Monday – Saturday, 8:30 to 6:00, and Sundays 10:00 to 4:00.
3D Archery Range
Our Archery course has 30 Rinehart and McKenzie targets set up on 30 acres behind our facility. Score cards are provided.
Price: $20.00 per person.
Indoor Archery Range
Our indoor archery range has 10, 20, and 30-yard lines, and is perfect for year-round archery practice.
Range Price: $10.00 per hour. Lessons available starting at $50.00 per hour.
Outdoor Gun Range
Our outdoor gun range has 20, 50, and 100 yard targets. No membership is required to use the range.
Range Price: $10.00 per hour.
Range Rules
In order to provide a safe environment, Maine Outdoor Sportsman asks all sportsmen to follow these rules. Failure to observe and follow these rules will result in your removal from the range, and we reserve the right to revoke access to anyone for any reason.
- Hunting rifles and handguns only. No shotguns.
- Shoot from cement area only. Do not stand in the grass while shooting.
- Shoot at paper targets only.
- Standard size targets only. No over size targets are allowed; if you can not fit the target on the wooden pieces that are provided your target is too big.
- You must wear ear and eye protection while shooting on our range.
- Pick up all of your trash and shell cases after shooting. There are buckets provided to dispose of your debris.
- All guns must be unloaded and the bolt open when anyone is checking their targets.
- Only paid shooters are allowed on the range. No spectators.
